Character Interview with Dice (Code of Pirates Launch Tour)

Hey readers! I'm back with another character interview for you - this one with Dice from The Guild of Thieves and the upcoming release, Code of Pirates! So excited for this one!

XD we all know I have a habit for ranting so we'll get right into this one.

About the Book

Sometimes, your past becomes your prison. I’d know, because mine had me shackled. It's been two years since Dice foiled the plans of Azic, guild master of The Guild of Thieves, and though life has moved on, Dice is caught in the repercussions of his actions. Wanted for the theft of the King’s Jewel and a murder he never committed, nowhere feels like home. Then, his past rises to haunt him. Azic is back with a new plan for bringing the High Rankers to their knees and an insatiable thirst for vengeance against the boy who toppled his empire. Armed with a crew of merciless pirates, led by Captain Bastian of the Unsinkable, Azic makes one thing clear: nothing will get in his way this time—including Dice. When greed leads to a falling out between Azic and the pirates, Azic asks for Dice’s help. The Guild Master alone knows the pirates' schemes, therefore, Dice must decide whether he should: work with Azic to stop the pirates or turn his old rival in and be done with the Guild Master once and for all. An impossible decision lies before him, and neither option bodes well for a kingdom on the brink of revolution.

1. Hello, Dice! I'd love for you to tell us a bit about yourself!

*Dice shifts feet, grabs dice* There's not too much to tell, at least without spoilers. *glances at author* I live in Arkrindon and uh . . . yeah . . .

2. What's your favorite activity?

I wouldn't say it's an activity, but just sitting around, talking and joking with friends. No responsibilities, just peace. *sighs*

3. Who are the most important people in your life?

My friend Shadow, we've been through a lot together and he's become like a brother to me. And Addi, she's helped me a lot and I hope I've helped her some too, though I doubt it.

4. What are your hobbies?

*grabs dice and shrugs* I don't really have time for hobbies.

5. How do you spend your days?

Running, mostly. *hangs head* And questioning . . .

6. Tell me about your community (favorite thing about it? Least favorite?)

Well, when I think about it there's not too much I can say that I love about Arkrindon, yet it's my home, it's just familiar I guess. We are safe, in means of protection from other nations. But there's just so much pain and poverty because of the High Rankers selfishness and the king's ignorance.

7. Are you introverted, extroverted, or an ambivert?

Introverted, though I don't like being alone, I don't like being around a lot of people or noise either, if you understand me.

8. Favorite food?

Chocolate cake!

9. Do you have a role model?

Addi, she just seems to have it all figured out. She's nice, caring, brave enough to trust people and things even if she doesn't quite understand it.

10. Alright, last question—if you could have 1,000 dollars, what would you do with it and why?

I'd give it away to charity, to orphanages and poor to give them better care and homes, so they don't have to suffer like I have, so they don't have to become thieves. So they can be free and happy.
